Terms and Conditions
The agreement between you and ToolForge for the ToolForge website, tools and paid plans.
Who you are contracting with
These terms are an agreement between you and ToolForge, trading as ToolForge, the provider of this website and its tools. By creating an account, buying a plan or continuing to use the service you agree to these terms. If you are using ToolForge on behalf of an organisation you confirm you have authority to bind it; otherwise you confirm you are of legal age in your country.
What we provide
ToolForge is a collection of browser-based SEO, text, image, PDF and developer utilities, plus SEO dashboards and reports. Free tools are available without an account. The Pro and Team plans add unlimited runs, saved dashboards and shared tracking, as described on the plan you select.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within the plan you have bought. You must not reverse engineer the service, resell or redistribute it, or work around technical or usage limits.
Acceptable use
You must not use ToolForge unlawfully; for fraud, spam or misleading content; to process or publish content you have no right to use; to infringe anyone's intellectual property; or to interfere with security, for example by uploading malware, probing our systems, scraping at scale or attacking third-party sites through our tools.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for activity carried out under your account, and for keeping the information you give us accurate and up to date.
Intellectual property
ToolForge retains all ownership and intellectual property rights in the service, including its software, content, documentation and branding. You keep the rights in the content you enter, and you grant us a limited licence to host and process it only to provide the service to you.
Payment, billing and subscriptions
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payment, billing frequency, renewals, taxes, cancellations and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms at https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms. Plans renew automatically each billing period until cancelled, and prices are shown before you confirm the purchase.
Service level and warranties
The service is provided as-is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance, and features that rely on third-party data may be unavailable or rate limited. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Results, scores and reports are informational. You are responsible for verifying any output before relying on it for production, legal or commercial decisions.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
You will indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the service or your breach of these terms.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the service at any time and cancel your plan through Paddle.
When access ends you can ask us to export your saved data within 30 days, after which it may be deleted.
General
These terms are governed by the laws of the seller's place of establishment, and disputes will be heard by the courts of that jurisdiction. You may not assign this agreement without our consent; we may assign it in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on this page before they take effect.
